Today, a really cute guy sat across from me on the bus. He smiled at me, then tensed his muscles and lifted a heavy bag with one arm. Thinking he was trying to act "macho" to impress me, I rolled my eyes and threw him an annoyed/disgusted look. When he got off, I realized he only had one arm. FML

wow. first of all, even if he was trying to charm you, to seem "macho" you should have enjoyed the sentiment of it. second your a total turdwad, for rolling your eyes, thinkin' your better than him, that makes you a double turdwad. YDI imagine how you must have made him feel for being a normal person. turdwad.

I personally don't go for looks, but none-the-less, people should have the decency to help those that aren't capable. So I agree with #14 with decency but the looks, c'mon.

Maybe he wasn't trying to impress her, but seriously; most women are bothered constantly by people trying to hit on them. It's an annoying fact of life. Try getting cat calls from random idiots in cars driving by, and sleezy idiots trying to schmooze with you on the bus. Going out for any reason becomes an endless parade of stupidity.

Yeah! Sheesh, all of the above, well most of it. WHy does todays society have a negative reaction to what we are supposedly also appeased by. An attempt by another to notice them, as a sign of their interest in you. Not that this was that,, it was just your self centered ego. Read a book, get a life.

You get off the Internet and go outside. You need to work on your writing structure- i can see you want to convey something here but it gets too dramatic with flourishy words that add up to nothing. Organize and simplify your thoughts man, and chill out about society.

ok to the people who say he isnt capable and saying she should have helped him: 1. he's only carrying a bag, its not like he was struggleing 2. i dont kno about you but most people dont exactly go out of there way to help others on a bus 3. that had nothin to do with the FML, noone said he asked for help 4. Im sure the guy can take care of him self. he may have only one arm but ppl adapt in those stuation 5. most ppl in those situation dont want to be treated any different then everyone else PS vanities a Bi*ch lol
