Today, after 8 years in exceptionally difficult veterinarian classes which put me $200,000 in debt, and 7 months of job searching, I finally got a job. I will be inspecting feces for worms while making minimum wage. FML

You will need another job or four, since a 40 hour a week minimum wage job won't cover your student loan payment. YDI for spending almost a quarter mil on an education with a track record of being a leading indicator of a recession, and a lagging indicator of a recovery. You are ****** for the next 25 years unless you move overseas for good, since you cannot file bankruptcy on student loan debt.

nice you have spent more time and money being a vet tech then some doctors....

ehh ...well maybe yu will fine another much better Job:)

nobody gets their dream job right after they finish college. so be patient, and your hard work will pay off. :-)

Is it just me or is spending $ 200,000 on a veterinarian degree really stupid!

From what I've been told, you don't become a doctor (or vet) for the money. You do it because you care about your patients. Searching their poo is one way to show them that you love them. I'm sure this isn't going to be your permanent job, just keep working.

Not looking forward to my job years.
