Today, after a stressful week, I spent my last few dollars on some comfort food. Later, my roommate's girlfriend came over and helped herself to my juice, drinking it straight from the bottle. I'm such a germaphobe, I can't bring myself to even take a sip. It's a full bottle. FML

I ******* hate it when people drink from the container; I don't give a **** about germs, learn some goddamn manners! Especially if you don't live there/aren't family.

Just poke a hole in the side of the bottle and drain it out into a bowl or something. It won't have to go past the Infected Area of the bottle.

Gross. Now the whole thing is contaminated. Especially if she was in with your roomate doing sexual things with her mouth, and then drinking your juice.

EW!! EW EW EW!! I NEVER ONCE CONSIDERED THAT!!! Oh gawd! I feel like I should throw away all the opened juice containers now, just in case!!

Humanity's fear of germs nowadays is the reason for all the horrible things we're encountering, like SARS and the swine flu. People are so keen on disinfecting everything they touch, their immune systems don'e build up an immunity to anything! Having nothing to defend the body against makes them useless. YDI!!!

Say what you will, but I wouldn't want to drink from the same container as a person who may possibly have strep throat.

There is a small difference between a majority of people being "too clean", which leads to inexperienced immune systems, and someone with mysophobia.

I thought a lot of the superbugs were around because people can't be arsed finishing a full round of antibiotics once they get put on it.

Okay, not wanting someone to drink out of your juice carton has NOTHING to do with SARS. 1) It's rude. 2) It's gross. He doesn't know if she washes her mouth, if she had someone's sperm babies swimming around in there or if she has some horrible disease that might be transported through saliva. Not wanting someone to drink from YOUR juice is not the same as disinfecting everything. Op, make her buy you a new carton.

I thought the honey badger don't care. Honey badger don't give a shit.

@22 comments like yours are the reason mass misinformation exists. some stupid **** with an opinion on something they dont understand representing it as fact based on anecdotal stories or just their own theories without any foundation in truth.

false and homosexual. SARS and swine flu have nothing to do with the fear of germs. quite the opposite actually. most of the new, serious strains of diseases we once knew are a product of dirty living conditions for both humans and livestock - people who don't care or can't do anything about the uncleanliness. or from idiots who don't take their full course of medication when they're sick. YDI OP, for not getting therapy for your phobia earlier.

if you are gonna try to sound smart at least use diseases that come from over usage of antibacterials like MRSA.

thanks for the lesson DR. Dickweed

Psh. I don't blame you at all. I'm the same way. Make your roommate buy you a new one. His GF shouldn't be helping herself to your stuff anyways.

right after his username... the blue male symbol gave it away.

Buy a new one! Or get her to buy you a new one.

It helps to read the full FML before commenting. It clearly says that the OP spent the last of their money on the juice.

I'm the same way. I hate it when people, even close friends, drink from my cup/can. It seems silly but there's just something about it.

Punch it in the butt and spray it with some water. Works every time.
