You shouldn't have to "coax" your boyfriend into having sex with you. If he doesn't want to have sex with you, leave him be. The amount time you've been together doesn't matter, if he isn't ready to have sex with you then leave him be. It's wrong. Even if he said yes, he may have not been ready still.
You shouldn't have pressured him into sex, maybe he wasn't ready and was just trying to get you to stop talking about it because he didn't want to say anything about it?
