Today, after assuming I'd been scammed, I finally found the vibrator I ordered over 2 months ago. It was in my mom's bedside cabinet. FML

Looks like you got scammed, just not by the primary suspect

She was just test driving it You wouldn't want it accidentally shorting out on you when you start her up, would you?

With a little soap and water it will be good at new. just don't forget the bleach for your mind

But for a masterbaiting device i dont think any of those will help op

Shoulda just bought a new one. Easier than finding it there.

Ever think she found it by mistake?

Maybe you guys buy the same kind of vibrators. That's kind of a scary thought.

What did you do in your moms bedside cabinet? If she knew you would be looking in there (like by asking you to get her something), why wouldn't she hide it somewhere else? I voted YLS because I'd be pissed if somebody took away something I ordered for myself and because good vibrators are pretty expensive, but in case you went through her stuff you kinda deserved it. Anyway, I hope your mom gives you the money you spent and you can buy yourself a new toy (I highly recommend Svakom btw, although Fun Factory and Vibe Therapy are nice as well and not that expensive ;))

I think it's weird that you seem to have to problem with Op's mom opening her mail (a federal offense, even if she's under 18), but you have a problem with Op going through her mother's nightstand (a perfectly normal action in some families).

I mean don't seem to have a problem with Op's mom opening her mail. I really screwed up on that comment.

We've all bought vibrators for our moms at some point, don't be ashamed

A vibrator is something I would never buy for my mother. I'll stick to things like nice clothes/jewelry or anything else she wanted that isn't sex related.

I bought one for my mom, we went to a pure romance party and I told her to pick one. It was one of the last few times we got to do anything before she passed. We had a blast and I think she learned a lot.

Maybe it's different for females, but there are some things I'd personally rather not know. Don't get me wrong she's a grown woman who can do whatever she wants, but that doesn't mean I want to know about it.

@19 We have? I seriously need to question your family dynamic system, though.

Just walk up to her, look her right in the eyes and say "You owe me $(price of it)." If she asks for what, say, "You know for what. And that includes shipping." Then walk away. Maybe that will teach her not to steal your mail.

Nope. You did get scammed. She bought that one.

does she routinely open your packages? if so that is another problem that needs discussing.

Let's go with "things you don't share with your mom" for $800, Alex.
