Hang in there, Op, maybe try to get involved in a church or theater or some kind of social organization, you don't have to embrace all their beliefs to make friends!

#28 It's not always as easy as that. Some people are shy-- or, even more problematic, have social anxiety. I used to have social anxiety so badly that when talking to people I didn't know, I would hardly be able to say a word, couldn't make eye contact, and would oftentimes shake with anxiety.
