Today, after not showering with my boyfriend in 3 months, he called me in to the bathroom and asked me to shower with him. After getting excited and ripping my clothes off, I get in and he asks me to wash his hair. FML

One of the biggest misconceptions, showering with your partner is mostly just that. One person standing back in the cold handing the other one shampoo and conditioners and what not.

Sounds like he wanted the intimacy, not sex. Seriously, I can really only think of three situations where humans are more vulnerable than the showed- when having sex, when going to the bathroom, and when sleeping. Pretty big display of trust. Also, shower sex is over glorified and really dangerous. Wet, soapy, slippery floors, few handholds, even fewer footholds, risk of water temperature changing and burning or freezing delicate parts, might air... not to mention for some acts you'd have to sit or lay on the floor unless the shower had a built in seat or bench. Honestly sounds like it is more of a pain than pleasure.
