Today, after paying back the money my grandma lent me to fix my car, I stepped outside, only to see my car leaking antifreeze all over the driveway. I had to ask for the money back to fix it again. FML

that sucks :( at least your grandma was nice enough to help you out! props to you for being responsible enough to pay her back, too.

And I'm sure your grandma will be more than happy to help you out again. Debts suck dude but at least you showed that you could pay it back

If you can't afford car maintenance then you either need to work on your budget or just not drive a car in the first place.

^^^ This, a million times. Part of being (or on your way to being) a grown-up is taking care of your things yourself. If you can't, then don't have them. Please learn this before you have children.

Hopefully it won't be too hard to borrow more since you have a track record of paying the money back.

If it's the same issue make the mechanic fix it for a reduced price. Or shop around and find the lowest price.

Well at least you got your money back...but lost it again...

why pay to fix it again? take the car back to the shop were it got fixed for the first time and tell to the mechanics to redo their jobs.

Your grandma is secretly sabotaging your car so you have to be financially dependent on her! It's genius!

I have to get coolant for my truck every week... It sucks

umm whoever fixed it first should fix it free then...YDI for not checking that

You shouldn't have to ask her again. It should be done for free because the repair obviously wasn't performed properly, or they broke something else in the process.

FRUITFUCKED 9

At least you tried to pay the money back. So many people don't even try.
