I thought it was a given to never leave one's laundry in a public facility. Who knows what could happen to it.
You should have stayed and waited. Don't you know the golden rule about doing laundry in a public laundry mat. If you leave your clothes, even for a few minutes they are bound to end up on the floor, in a pike on the floor or in your case handed out for free
Why was it hard to bring your clothes back with you, when you went away? I would never, never leave my clothes out like that.
Never ever ever leave your stuff in a laundry room. Don't even leave it in the washer/dryer for too long. One time at college I was three minutes late in getting my clothes out of the dryer and someone had stolen my favorite skirt out of it. People are evil. You have to be extra responsible to offset their douchebaggery.
Yep, I had 3 tops and a pair of pricey jeans taken from the dryer when I went to get more coins (I was gone about 10 mins)... didn't realise until I was back in my apartment.
Hey, at least your cat didn't give birth on your towels!
To anyone reading this in the future, there was a recent FML about a cat giving birth on new white towels.
Should have stayed. Never leave your clothes there. Good luck getting all that shit back, well...you'll never get it back... sounds like hundreds of dollars well spent. I have to say YDI and FYL
Sucks i know but ydi for leaving your shit there unattended
Really? It's way cheaper to run some clothes through the washer than it is to go out and buy them.

Don't leave your stuff in the laundry room, that's like rule number one. It's a hard lesson, but I bet you won't make that mistake again.
Be positive. It was also half full.
