#293, the funny part is, that's the number one card played by girls that are huge fans of Twilight in defense of girls that end relationships because they're holding out for someone like "Edward." It's pathetic and laughable. My sister happens to be a rabid Twilight fan also. She gets very angry when people start bashing either the books or Edward. I'm a 16 year old girl who despises Twilight. Yes, I've read all four books. It nearly killed me, but for the sake of being able to debate things with other people, I did it. I seriously doubt the people who say they fall in love with Edward Cullen because he's so "loyal", "kind" and whatever. If Edward Cullen looked like a "nerd", would you still love him? What about if he were chubby? It all comes down to superficiality. Most Twilight fans are just in love with this perfect, gorgeous, "Adonis"-like guy who happens to be a vampire. I don't even think the vampires in Twilight count as vampires. They're more like gods - they have no flaws, and the only things the author took out of vampire mythology to pass them off as vampires is pretty much the fact that they drink blood, and that they're conveniently immortal.
