Today, I went for a soak in a mineral hot pool to relax after a stressful day teaching middle school. There were 120 middle schoolers there on a school trip. FML

Today, I spent 65 dollars in cab fare and skipped half of my grade 12 classes, including a unit test, to see my girlfriend on our two year anniversary. I arrived just in time to see her kiss her other boyfriend of over a year good bye. FML

Today, my mother informed me that we are no longer taking my graduation trip to New York. Instead, she and her group of continuously drunk friends are going to Vegas because, "We could win the jackpot and take you on an even bigger trip to New York!" She's never won anything in her whole life. FML

Today, I graduated from Basic Training. I was really looking forward to seeing my family after being away for almost three months. They decided not to come to graduation because they didn't want to spend the money to travel here. They live 30 minutes away. FML

I don't particularly understand what's so bad about that... I do live in England though so I'm not familiar with senior trips, but here for our leaver's trip at 16 before we go to college we go to theme parks etc. and just pay for ourselves. Just sayin'.

I don't see what the big deal is. I'd happily go to a water park for my senior trip. We didn't even GET a senior trip at my high school because it's such a small town. Plus gas prices also limited your options of where to go. Big deal, so it's close to home. The point is to have fun and I don't see what isn't fun about going to a water park. YDI for complaining.
