If I were you, I'd talk to my friends and find out what's going on, because it seems as though they're trying to tell you that your husband-to-be is a man you are going to wish you hadn't married, or that you don't understand commitment. Why would they expect a divorce? What they did is highly insulting under ordinary circumstances unless it's a joke, which I doubt. So ask them what's going on.
