Today, as I have done for many years, I want to lose weight. The problem is, I stress eat. Thinking about losing weight makes me stress, which makes me eat. Making me fatter than ever. I can't stop this cycle. FML

Perhaps try to replace the food in your house then if you can't replace the cycle, an important part of losing weight isn't just workouts it's also diet changes. I'm not saying you need to starve yourself but rather than having a tempting bag of chips laying around, perhaps ditch the chips and buy some apples that you can replace them with. A nice small snack you can also have are celery with a little bit of peanut butter and extra points if you use low fat peanut butter. They have food like veggie sticks but I'm not sure how good those are for you and they definitely aren't as good as the real thing. Also don't forget to drink plenty of water, and don't overwork :) good luck with shedding those pounds, and don't let an eating cycle discourage you

Instead of eating when you get stressed change that stress into eating. For example when you think of eating when you're stressed switch it to going to work out or go for a run.

I went through this cycle for years... Joined weight watchers and found it to be almost stress free. Give it a try.

I had surgery. My hips are dying but I'm "too young" so they won't do the replacements. I was told to have surgery to help with the pain and tolerate the next 10-15 years better until I can have replacements. I lost 121 pounds with the vertical sleeve gastrectomy and learned so many healthy options and tricks. I learned to eat like a "normal person". As long as you follow your new lifelong food rules it will be amazing, satisfying, and healthy, even boost your confidence. I highly recommend it. Changed my life

Not only did I learn the "healthy ways" of dealing with food (we all know them. Following long-term is the hard part). The surgery FORCES you to follow. One bite more than I need, makes me throw up. There is no more emotional eating. Period.

Try Nutrisystem for a few months! It gives you the food and a diet plan which might help take the stress off. Ordering it for only a few months could help kickstart your diet and then you can just follow their plan/guidelines after. The first week gives you smoothies, as well, and helps you drop, like, 15 pounds to really jumpstart the diet. I used it and it helped a lot - it was amazing and the food tasted good, too!

Have a physician refer you to a Registered Dietitian. They know how to use various food and behavioral methods to improve your eating habits, as well as Having the medical expertise to prescribe meal plans and diets that can help you reach your weight loss goals.

Typical!! U need to find a way to destress!! Talking to someone may help. Everybody has a different way to destress. Find yours and put it to good use. All of a sudden loosing weight becomes a little easier. Take it one day at a time. With patience it will happen.

weightloss is mainly due to diet. go through your entire house throw away all the processed shit go buy your own healthy food and cook it yourself focusing on smaller portion sizes. also meditate
