Today, as I was driving to work in the aftermath of a terrible blizzard that came through my area last night, a lady slid through an intersection and hit my car, totaling it. I called my boss and told her what happened, only to have her tell me that we were closed due bad roads. No one told me. FML

what a ******' day  You deserve a Big : FML !!

blizzards and floods here but no blizzards luckily

UGH my work did that to me too!! Except my scenario was a little different. I didn't even know I had to come in that day, but they closed early so I wouldn't have even had to come in, but they didn't call to tell me or anything!! They just waited to tell me until the next time I came back to work lawl

does no one watch the news on mornings of inclement weather? generally school, church, and business closing or delays will be rolling as soon as the station gets them. or call someone before you leave if conditions are that bad? common freakin' sense.

This is where I think companies should be sued. How the **** can they expect ppl to get to work if car is in 2ft of snow?
