fml0505 tells us more.
This is the OP! I live with a married couple because they are old friends of mine, the rent is cheap, and it helps them out with the bills as well. It's really not that bad, we get along really well. The baby talk just gets old when you hear it all the time ya know? I don't even think he realizes he's doing it at this point, and I don't want to get in the middle of their marriage. I'll just keep quiet, drown it out with manly music, and vent on FML! # 2 I will be long gone before they have a real baby. # 17 I am indeed very jealous of his beard. Also, they are not newly weds. And to clear things up, all three of us are roommates. He's not living with me instead of his wife like some of you thought. That is all.

I am married with 3 kids and roommate who happens to be my mother-in-law. She's disabled and had to move in with us due to housing costs being too high. It's my house. She pays a small amount of rent. I never imagined having to live in this situation, but it is what it is.
Move out
Out of interest, are they infantalists? One of my best friends is one and she enjoys it when he partner does stuff like that. She doesn't enjoy it in a sexual way, although it is technically a fetish. Could be why they do it too.
OP, I feel your pain. Years and years ago I had a 30 yr + roommate who baby talked his cat non-stop. Every day, all day.
Maybe she likes it!
what gets me is that the biggest issue the OP seems with his friends baby voice is that it's ' unmanly'. He mentioned his friend being a 'grown man' and 'having a beard' then later saying he'd drown out the baby talk with quote "manly music". Clearly the OP has archaic views of gender and feels threatened by any man (most of all those with manly beards?) showing any sensitivity. He should get over it.
I have a friend that I Skype with that does this... It's... Ugh...
