Today, at my work, I was ringing though a kid's purchase. I try to be friendly with the kids and when he handed me his cash I said "Thank you, sir!" in a playful manner. He then turns to his mom and says "Mom, why does everyone think I am a boy?". FML

I wouldn't blame you these days you can't tell .

Whatever, who cares. it happens all the time. I remember when I was like, 7,8,9 years old I had cornrows and ALL the time people would mistake me for a girl and it pissed me off so much xD

tell the mom to grow the kids hair put in pigtails and get her a dress!!!

He probably posted on this website soon after you saying, "Some guy at the cash register took my money saying thank you sir." I'm a girl. lol
