Yeah I live in Atlanta. It was a shitstorm when people found out at first.
Sweet, you get paid to take a walk. Don't forget to hatch your poke eggs while you're at it.
No, just no. I understand managers want to accommodate customers and keep patronage, but it's usually at the expense of the employee as the manager rarely or ever actually takes up the responsibility of going that 'extra mile'. I have one of those managers, and I finally had enough. I had a discussion with my manager as to why some of the requests he made are both unreasonable and disrespectful toward me as a person after repeated offences (nothing sexual, just outrageous demands because of customers). Thankfully he listened and I haven't had problems since. Maybe you should have a talk with your manager. Granted, if it's only a short fifteen minute walk or something, I wouldn't put up a fuss. But, if you're in a bad neighborhood, the weather is inclement, or it's a ridiculous distance, it's time to have a talk. You have rights as an employee, though I know it doesn't seem like it most of the time.
This is affecting North Carolina too. Idk if that's where you are but most gas stations are completely empty so I totally understand this problem.
What state do you live in? The same thing is happening to us!
That's great customer service
I bet the state is NC cause we're out of gas here too..
I'd get a bike, a basket for the front, a bike lock, and a stretchy cat leash or a bungee cord. I just went to go pick up my order on my bike and that's what I used. You can put the side dishes/soda in the basket and strap the pizzas to the top of the basket. If you strap it in using a criss cross method, the pizzas should stay in place as long as you don't wreck. I rode 5 miles to get my pizza and I'm not in shape, so I'm sure an in shape person can ride further. I know it may suck, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

"The Krusty Krab pizza, is the pizza, for you and me." On a side note, in which state do you live that you have a fuel shortage? Gas is $2 a gallon by me.
Does the 30 minutes or less policy still apply? I'd expect a timely delivery and nothing less.
