Today, due to the heat, I had a deadly asthma attack. Where was my inhaler? My dad pawned it for beer money. What did my dad do about my attack? Told me to quit being a Drama Queen. I had to go across the street and beg for a ride to the ER from my neighbor. FML

Today, I forgot my inhaler. I had an asthma attack and had to go to the ER. The doctors told me it wasn't an asthma attack. It was just a panic attack from worrying about whether I would get an asthma attack. FML

Today, I asked my parents to babysit my kids for an hour so that I could visit the doctor for my asthma, which has worsened over the past two days. Apparently I'm a bad mother, and it's OK if I stop breathing, but shouldn't leave my kids to go out alone. My husband was at the gym the entire evening. FML

Today, I had an asthma attack while in bed with my boyfriend. He interrupted my desperate coughing only to tell me to shut up. He then rolled over to go back to sleep. FML

Today, I woke up to find my car broken into. They also took the inhaler that fell out of my bag the night before. The one I needed to stop the asthma attack I had from the stress of having my car broken into. FML

Today, my doctor told me my asthma was being triggered by my dad's smoking. He wrote a note to my dad, asking him to refrain from smoking while around me. My dad took one look at the note, then threw it in the trash, saying the doctor "doesn't know what he's talking about." FML

Today, once again I tried to convince my dad to stop smoking. And once again, while I was speaking, he lit up a cigarette and smoked until my asthma flared up and I was wheezing so hard that I had to leave the room. FML

Today, due to the high pollen count and despite taking hay fever medicine, I passed out in the bathroom from not being able to breathe. My mother accused me of doing it on purpose to make her late for work. FML

Note BEG. Now, if someone is having an asthma attack, they struggle to breath. YOU try calling a number, TALKING ON A PHONE while having a rope around your neck choking you, and then realise it's easier to use gestures and their intelligence to understand what you are saying.

I'm calling fake, as one of the earlier comments stated, cold air causes asthma. Another thing is that you can't pawn an inhaler, no pawn shop would buy it because they wouldn't be able to sell it. One last thing is that you had to walk across the street to "beg" your neighbor for a ride to the ER, despite the fact it was a "deathly" asthma attack.

If you could talk in full sentences or even partials you would have been fine anyway, and especially if you could walk over to your neighbors house, i am a firefighter/emt who also has asthma and you were probably having more of a panic attack than anything. Just take a few deep breaths and relax and you will be golden.
