His parents/ family should be excited that you aren't knocked up. Seriously I know every body is different, but you should either be prepared with a spare product in your purse, or be prepared to ask and potentially be embarrassed. Also, you could have just used some tp and asked someone discreetly then returned to the bathroom. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure this out.

Don't you know when your going to start your period? I usually just leave one in my purse, as do most women!

Every woman has their period every month unless they are pregnant. So don't be ashamed of the fact that you're going through the same thing every other woman goes through.
