At least it's motivation towards self improvement. Non-alcoholic cheers to you!
Your name is 'recovering alcoholic' yet it sounds like you have no desire to 'recover'. YDI
Get to a meeting. One day at a time. You can do it, and life will get immeasurably better.
Meetings have been invaluable for me. It helps to be able to talk with people who have been where you are and who aren't going to judge you.
drink harder liquor
You should consider abstaining from all alcohol shouldn't you? Sorry Op,YDI
If you have an alcohol problem then going cold turkey is not the best idea -it can be dangerous - but you do have to cut down and keep cutting down until you can go cold turkey, and not use it as an excuse to keep drinking. My advice is to see a doctor who can tell you what the best amount to cut down by is at first and then how much to keep cutting down by.
It looks like you need to befriend Bill...
Doesn't sound like you're recovering at all. Or possibly stop drinking altogether, and profit from the alcohol not bought. Just an idea.
It doesn't seem like you are recovering then as your name states. Your more of a coping alcoholic.

Keep it up and your motivation will go towards staying sober. You'll see the benefits soon enough! Good luck!
Maybe it's a sign you should stop drinking for a long while OP.
