Today, I absentmindedly stuck two magnets in my mouth while talking, and accidentally swallowed them. I had to go the emergency room. The nurses at the station laughed at me. They thought it was a joke. They couldn't believe an 18 year old would swallow magnets. FML

what's wrong with swallowing magnets? you can walk up to a girl wearing a bunch of jewelry (well maybe really really cheap jewelry thats magnetic) and be like.. "I think there's a connection.. I'm magnetically attracted to you"

Don't feel too bad. I do that kind of thing all the time. I space out while playing with something and end up chewing on it or putting in my mouth. I don't know why it happens but it just does. I swallow things absently too, like gum, I'll have it in my mouth for a matter of seconds and then just swallow it for no reason. It's good that you weren't too embarrassed to go to the hospital. If you were, it could have caused major problems. Now just remember next time, not to play with magnets :P
