Today, I achieved a personal goal by completing a half-marathon for charity, despite being overweight and unfit before training. When I finished I cried, not because I was proud of myself, but because I ran the last 2 miles while being followed by kids on bicycles calling me a "fat cunt". FML

That's absolutely horrible I'm so sorry :( tbh I don't think I could've finished it if that had happened to me. You must be very strong willed. Congrats and sorry again.

All you had to do was find a stick and shove it between the spokes of their bikes. Then obviously keep running

I'm sorry to hear that. Just take their words as noise, you wouldn't be affected when a dog barks at you right? Same concept except that dogs are much nicer than those pieces of shit. They should be genocided for the public good.

Oh sweetheart, I am so sorry. Kids can be cruel, but it's only because they are misinformed by ignorant parents and communities, and they are educated to point and shame instead of help and support. Anyway, bravo, I'm overweight too right now after being skinny all my life (hormone problems) and I had never thought people could be so inconsiderate and hurtful. I can only imagine what you went through, but more power to you, because you didn't let them get to you and you won that marathon DESPITE their taunts. That spells courage in my book. You inspired me so thank you :)

I'd like to see any of them try to finish a half marathon. I'm willing to bet most of them couldn't.

First FML I've read that made me feel sad... :(

Aww. Don't worry about those stupid kids. You did GREAT. I would never be able to do what you did... Soo proud of you ^_^ ...Karma will come back around.... AND BEAT THEM SUCKAS UP!(;

wow that's horrible. ignore them op and be proud :)

Maybe you should lose some weight, that's only if you don't want to be called a fat c#*t!

If she hasn't lost weight after doing a half-marathon, then she's not going to. Her body may simply have a high set point, and your comment is just as bad as those kids'. At least they have the excuse of being too young to know better. You are old enough to know better, but you're still ADVOCATING calling her names, because she does not look the way you want her to, despite the fact that she has already exercised waaaaayyyyy more than the vast majority of thin people in this world. All you people who are or know thin people who can eat whatever and not exercise, and still be thin, because you have good genes? Guess what? Logic dictates that the same can be true for fat people. They can eat healthy, exercise, and still be fat, because they have a body set-point that is not going to change, just because you think it is prettier. Shallow bullies - on bikes or online - are just so wrong.
