FROM THE OP: yes, i have way more problems than this candy incident, but ironically its the only one that ever got posted. go figure. for the record, i am not fat myself. i am 5 ft 1 and weigh 95 lbs. k? My mother threw away the candy, so i cannot eat it. its not possible for me to do now, its in the dump. and for all of you assholes that say "omg this site sucks because of posts like this", go to a different site. nobody is forcing you to come here.

FYL, but I can understand why your mom would make you do that. But why can't you just eat the candy when she's not around? Also, why did your mom let you trick or treat if you can't eat the candy?
Sadly, there are some parents in this world that are intentionally cruel to their kids.

So OP should be supporting her sister who could not control her weight, while OP apparently had perfect control of her weight and can no longer enjoy a sweet treat until her sister learns to control herself? **** that...I sure as hell wouldn't be supporting my sister if she couldn't control herself, thus punishing me in the process for no good reason.
agreed its her sisters fault not the OP's. Eat the candy anyway, enjoy every last bite :) While she can't have any because she needs to lose weight.
OP's sister needs to practice restraint. :p It's not like the candy is forcing itself into the sister's mouth. It's a lot different than putting alcohol around someone who just came out of rehab.

Even if it was (IF it was. I am not saying it is) just because the fat sister can't have any, that shouldn't stop the not-so-fat sister from having some when they aren't around each other. My mother just got out of rehab. Does that mean I should not ever have wine again? No. It means I will not have any around her, and I'll never show up drunk at her house. Fine.

aproximately 70% of the kids I went to high school with, who are college freshmen now, went trick or treating this year.

If this is on account of the OP's parents, I'd be pretty pissed off. Parents usually make a half-arsed attempt at keeping their kids healthy, then when their kids get fat, they make more half-arsed attempts to shrink them. **** parents.
