Today, I arrived at work and was immediately given a disciplinary write-up for being two hours late for my shift. Apparently the manager had changed my schedule that morning and failed to tell me. FML

Today, despite leaving early to go to work, I still ended up late because some dude decided to have an argument with the bus driver, delaying us by 20 minutes. As a result, I was fired without a write-up. This was my first ever time being late. FML

Today, I showed up to work at 6am, only to find out the schedule was changed. I wasn't actually supposed to be there until 9:15. My boss never told me this. I didn't get to go home either, he just said "Oh well. Get to work." FML

Today, I went to my retail job to buy some clothing. As soon as I walked through the doors, my manager yelled at me for not being in appropriate work clothes. I tried to explain that I was off the clock but he was having none of it. I got written up. FML

And then you complained and got written up for insubordination. And you threw down the write-up and got written up for littering. And you got written up for having explosive diarrhea even though that was on the other side of the country in a whole, separate FML! They've just got it in for you.

I had something like that happen in a former job. Schedules were supposed to be posted by Wednesday, but one week it didn't get put up till Saturday. Really sucked for the people who had had Saturday off and were scheduled to work on Sunday. I forget exactly how many people this involved, but none of the associates were very happy with the manager.
