Today, I auditioned for a part and made it because the director thought I would be "perfect" for the part and I was "just like the character in every way." The part is for a schizophrenic drug addict who everyone hates and is stabbed to death in the second scene. FML

Today, I auditioned for a part in a play. I've been practicing for months, and was very excited. After I'd finished singing, the director whispered something to the other judges, and they all laughed. Hard. So much for the lead role. FML

Today, I showed up on set for a film that I booked a role in weeks ago. At the time of the audition, the script was being rewritten, so today I was so excited and eager to be told what my role would entail. When they handed me the script, my character was described as a fat, ugly, awkward girl. FML

Today, my guidance counselor told me that I did a really good job playing someone who was really airheaded in my school's play. I wasn't trying to act like an airhead, the director told me that I got cast for the part because the character I was playing was "just like me". FML

Today, I had a graded performance in my drama class. I had to play a murderer in an interrogation room. I got really into it and started pounding on the windows to try to "escape". The thin glass smashed. Four hours in casualty, stitches and plastic surgery pretty much sum up my mood. FML

Today, I got my first acting part. I played the role of a bad boy who has to grab the leading lady's ass, who then slaps me in the face. The ass grab was done in one take. The slap required 14 takes. FML

Only a retard bitches about the fact that he got the position he ******* auditioned for. He was probably just complimenting your ability to act as the person you're portraying. But you are so self conscious/stupid you take everything personally. The director guy doesn't ******* know you, he only knows the character you played as. Take the compliment. Jesus Christ...

So, it's been said but.... You wanted the part of some crazy drug addict, played the part so well that the director had to have you, and now you're upset about the fact that you fit the part? Are you ******* kidding me? Here's an idea for you: next time you try out for the part of some scum, play the part like total shit, don't get the part, and feel good about yourself.

Playing a drug addict is easy as anything. Hell, pretty much everyone i've ever met thought i was so high that pot grew out my ass. I've never touched an illegal drug in my life....................... more than twice.

I've seen way too many other FMLs that start that exact same way... and your director is right, everybody does hate a copycat. I can't wait to see the second scene.
