Today, I babysat an 11 year old kid while his parents ate out. As soon as they left, the kid asked me if I wanted to be on the sex offender's list. Before I could even process that, he told me to stay out of his way and he wouldn't accuse me of anything. FML

Record him saying all of that, make 100% sure that it saved, and then call his parents and tell them to come home immediately to show them the video. That shit's not cool and he needs some serious discipline. (Make sure he doesn't know you recorded him and doesn't have access to your phone so he can't delete it).

Should have told him to sit down and shut up before he ends up on a milk carton

tell his parents and leave that place immediately ...he is more villain than you think...

Contact immediately the parents and demand them to come back.

If it were me, I would immediately call his parents telling them what he said and quitting the job. I'm guessing that could work since he told you that right after his parents left the house - there would be no time to do anything the kid might accuse you of, right? Recording is a good alternative, but what mischiefs would he be about before you had a chance to?

The best thing you can do is simply call the parents and tell them they need to come home immediately, and why. Chances are they'll be VERY pissed at junior for pulling this stunt and ruining their evening.

I've had kids I babysat do this. I told the parents and they told me I'm not the first. Which means you aren't to this kid most likely. You should say something.

Everyone is blaming the child, I point the finger at the parents. He is only 11 years old, how would an 11 year old even know about sex offender's list, what constitutes of an offender and, don't forget, blackmail. Also I'd be careful bringing this up with the parents - if the child is this well versed on the topic that probably means the parents have flooded him with warnings and may be paranoid. Be safe and warn not only the parents, but friends and family so that way no one is ever harmed once you quit. If at all possible, leave a description to the authorities just to have it on file. The police won't even need to contact the family, they would just keep it on record. You just got to love kids now a days.

I'd call the parents that moment

I work investigating child abuse and I really wish this surprised me. We have almost given kids TOO MUCH knowldge about "abuse" half the calls we get are false allegations.
