Today, I bought a brand new flat screen TV. When I brought it home it didn't work. Furious, I walked into Best Buy and yelled at a guy in a tucked in blue polo and khakis. I asked him why it didn't work and he said he didn't know. I kept screaming. He didn't have a nametag. He didn't work there. FML

Even if he had a name tag, why would you yell at him? "Hey, you work here! You must know exactly what's wrong with the TV I bought from some other employee a while ago! "

I understand the confusion, since I used to wear something close to a target uniform at a place I volunteered and got customers asking me for help every time I stepped into a target. But YDI For bitching out what you thought to be an employee for a problem he probably couldn't fix in the first place. Defective electronics are just a part of life, generally it's the manufacturers fault and places like best buy will replace it free of charge.

wow. just wow. How can you be that much of an asshole? Even completely disregarding the fact that you stupidly yelled at a fellow Best Buy customer, you should never just walk into a store and yell at the first employee you can find because a product doesn't work. Go to customer service and get the matter resolved in a civilized manner. Or better yet, call the manufacturer like it says to do in the manual, which you probably didn't read. 99% of the time, it is not the store's fault that something you bought there doesn't work.

Having worked in Retail for the last 20+ years (15 at Best Buy), I can safely say you are a "First Class Asshole". If you had been correct in your assumption, and actually been yelling at an employee. What good does that do you? I treat customer's how they treat me. You act like a jerk; I have no problem doing absolutely NOTHING for you. If you are relaxed, cool, and treat me like the human I am, I will go above and beyond to make your experience the best you ever had... Lastly, here's food for thought. When was the last time a stranger walked into your work and started screaming at you? Bet that would make you feel like a million bucks! Where do you work? I'd love to stop by and try it out on you.

This is my first comment on FML. Sadly, it is to tell the poster that he or she is a jerk. I'm glad you felt like a jackass. Even if the person was wearing a nametag or did work there what you did was totally bull crap. Customers like you are not good to have no matter how much money you spend.
