Today, I broke my fifth bone in three years. While I'd like say that they've all been scary, athletic injuries, most have been from attempting to do things as mundane as walking. FML

Osteogenesis Imperfecta, also known as brittle bone disease. A lot of people have it and don't know it. I've knowing since I was 4. I've had over 22 broken bones not including fingers or toes.

I broke a bone while sitting inside a parked car. Even had my seat belt on. Wouldn't get myself worked up over breaking a bone while walking. Much more easily explainable and feasible while walking.

Got milk? Seriously though, it might be osteoporosis. While waiting for your doctor's appointment, you should make sure to get all the calcium and vitamin D your body needs. One of the best (and cheapest) way is to drink at least two cups of milk a day. Drink three just to be on the safe side. It doesn't matter if it comes from a cow, a goat or an almond, as long as the calcium content is there.

Considering the amount of force that it takes to break a bone, they either weren't very mundane falls or there's some underlying issue.

did you trip while walking? Or did you jump/skip randomly while walking and land funny? or was maneuvering around an obstacle happening? or going up/down a hill or stairs? hiking on a rough terrain? Maybe walking at an inconsistent pace might do it.. or more likely accidentally walking into a cyclist or other person or gawd forbid a car would totally do ir. Or literally just walking... at good, consistent pace... level ground.. nothing remotely hazardous? because for a bone to just break without any real reason is definitely unnatural and there is likely a underlying health reason as such. So I'd talk to a health professional about this.. idk what a bone doctor is called? osteologist? is that a thing? I guess you need to see your regular doctor first to get a recommendation however. I hope you didn't/don't shrug this off OP if there any signs at all that may point to deeper issues than clumsiness! Your health is important! Which, I know, seems like an obvious statement. But you'd be surprised how much people put their health on the backburner...

Orthopedists are the doctors that specialize in bone and joint treatment.

I'm beginning to think you're walking just wrong.
