my guess is that the pimple was about midway down the bridge of op's nose. they probably tried popping it by pushing with their finger on either side, essentially twisting the cartilage by applying too much pressure. a nose only takes about nine pounds of pressure to break, after all. they wouldn't need any superhuman strength to accomplish that. this is, however, just my theory. I'd love to hear the story of what actually went down.
