Today, I broke up with my boyfriend. After three long weeks of him ignoring me and cancelling out on time we were supposed to spend with each other. He looked at me with the most confused look on his face. Then he says ''Are you serious? I was planning the perfect day to ask you to marry me'' FML

My fiancé and I got in a huge fight the day before he proposed because he spent two weeks ignoring the hell out of me and then invited all of his friends to our "family" dinner. Come to find out it was a surprise party of all of our friends and family for him to propose. Super sweet but he was being a sneaky little butt!

honestly even if he was planning the perfect proposal, he shouldn't be ignoring you for that long. anyone would think their s/o was cheating or sneaking around behind their backs. it really doesn't matter how 'perfect' he was trying to make the day, he needs to keep communicating with you otherwise you're going to want to say no more than yes.
