Today, I burped in front of my crush. Well, not really in front of him. I turned around mid-burp and noticed him, not knowing anyone was there. The surprise made me scream a little, which only amplified the burp. So I made this mighty belch-turned-scream noise, while maintaining eye contact with him. FML

I mean who in a relationship has not farted or belched in front of their significant other? Bottom line, you should just act like it's no big deal and try to ask them out some day soon. Here's to hoping you get your 'happy ever after'.

Honestly I prefer it when girls don't act too prissy to do be able to do basic human functions, and I don't see any guy being offended or thinking lesser of you for belching. Just excuse yourself and laugh it off, and I think you'll be just fine OP.
