Today, I called in to my girlfriend's favorite radio station to propose. After spending what seemed like an eternity telling her how much I love her and I want to spend the rest of my life with her, she took a deep breath, said, "How about no?" and hung up. FML

It's okay OP... Atleast it's not a tv station you went on, nobody seen your face when she said no

I give you props for trying to be original, OP. Dont worry, you'll find the right gal.

How about yes?!... And then talk about it?

I know I'm going to get thumbed down for this but oh well. However this fml sounds like his young and too immature, purposing over a radio station and over the phone come on. It'd be different if he called in to have their song play then while it's playing ask her to marry him in Person. Most girls I know want the proposal privately so there's no pressure on them everyone looking at the girl to say yes, then spreading the news.

There's a wow factor in public proposals. That's a good thing.

#81, true however OP should know if he's girl a center of attend girl or a personal one on one girl. Planning is very important when it comes to popping the big question. Therefore he should of prepared better and got little hints from her through out their relationship.

You should have known the relationship was not going in that direction long before u got an answer like that!

This is why guys don't try... Bc of girls like her. What a shame.

what the hell are you doing proposing over the phone? I woulda said no too

At least on the radio you are semi anonymous, better than in front of a crowd. Sorry op

Put a bear trap under her pillow for misleading you.

I know "it's the thought that counts" and it was unique, but man-up and propose right. I wouldn't have said yes if it wasn't face-to-face either! Sorry bro.
