So? Just call later.
My friends have done this before to me.
Haha, I had a message like that once. I thought I was brilliant for inventing it.
UGGH! I HATE when people do that. It's so rude!
wait..so was it a voicemail recording or was it just him being a dick? fyl if it was him being a dick, but if it was voicemail, what's the big deal?
Yeah.. I also had one of those voice messages. It gets old quick, though.
oh, i got the feeling that he actually did pick up the phone but was so creeped out that he pretended it was an answering machine....
I say you spare your self from actually laughing in your face. If he likes you as much as you like him, then he will let you know. Guys love the thrill of the chase; I should that any guy worth you time likes the thrill of the chase and will pursue YOU. Let him do some of the work; if he doesn't, then you know where you stand with him. Basically, if he likes you, he'll let you know.
Not sure how much you could have said during a brief pause...but no big deal. Leave a message or call him later. If you said it once, you can say it again. Good luck! :)

What an immature, yet awesomely hilarious joke. At least you get another chance to make it sound better.
Am I the only person that thought he actually answered it but pretended it was voicemail because he didn't like her back?
