Today, I came across a tourist in the street asking people for directions, but nobody understood him. I speak English, so I went to help the gentleman out. He said "Knock it off with the cheesy accent, pal" and informed me that my country is a shithole. FML

I have never met a Canadian who was socially inappropriate in a manner that wasn't passive aggressive. Outright rudeness might happen during sporting events, but outside of that my Canadian classmates were more polite than my Korean ones. All were very polite, but the Koreans were polite by default and returned rudeness in kind, the Canadians seemed to get aggressively nicer in the face of dickishness.

What's funny is that although op never said the guy is American, all Americans just know he had to be one of our assholes. There should be an IQ test required before you leave the country so that we don't let anymore idiots out of the US. It's bad enough that our politicians have to go and ruin things.
