The eggs aren't anything to worry about. Dogs aren't meant to eat cooked food and eggs (given whole, with or without the shell) are part of the regular diet of many, MANY dogs. For those of us who feed raw, we give our dogs the whole egg, with the shell. My dogs don't seem to like the shells of store bought eggs to we keep them, dry them out, and grind them into powder to mix into boneless meals in the event we find ourselves low on bone in meals with no time to get to the store. Very useful. A dog's digestive tract is much tougher than ours and egg shells won't bother it. Too many can cause an upset stomach so, as far as the eggs go, that's the only thing I would be worried about. Keep his leash handy so you can take him out! (Or let him out... I forget that some people have a fenced yard). The crab is what would worry me. Dogs can react to shellfish the same way people do. If it wasn't in the shell, watching for an allergic reaction and letting him out frequently in the event of an upset stomach would be my main concern. If the crab was in the shell and he ingested pieces of shell, I would consult a vet as crab shell is very tough and I don't know how it compares to bone. I cut myself on raw and cooked crab shells every year during crab season, and it doesn't seem to take much to break skin. I hope your dog will be all right. I've been there before with cooked chicken bones and it's not a pleasant thing to deal with. We all love our dogs and I know how frightening it can be to have to watch for adverse reactions to something they've eaten or gotten into.
Crab is amazing, I don't blame him.
egg sucking dog
I know how you feel. We had to put baby proof locks on our fridge so the cat couldn't get it
Give him some crackers, old bay seasoning and remoulade and make it a crab cake dinner
ydi if he's already done it once and you didn't put a lock or something on it.

What a crabby day. Sorry, shouldn't have made that pun. It's a little eggstreme.
