Today, I came home to tell my parents about my new nose job I got about a month ago. My mom always told me I should get one, so I didn't tell her right away to see if she would notice. I was home for about 20 minutes before she asked me, "so when are you getting that nose job?" FML

A nose job is fine. It becomes a problem when ppl get addicted to plastic surgery and they want to get their butt, face, lips, etc done. All OP got was one freaking nose job, not a big deal...

as someone who's gotten a nose job, get over it. It's going to be swollen for another year to year and a half and with mine, some people said they hardly noticed a difference. that's a good thing. you want it to look natural, not embarrassingly obvious

That's ****** up! What a shit mum. I would've told her it was her fault I had the big nose and she should pay for the surgery. Also it'd still be swollen anyway, for up to a year, even a year and a half sometimes.
