Well, I've heard the phrase "coughing my lungs up" before, so maybe your lungs just wanted to take a shortcut and exit through your rib cage.
Well then beware of diarrhoea!
I feel for you OP, happened to me too. A bad cough can do a lot of damage. When I had whooping cough as an adult, I coughed so hard that it made me vomit forcefully enough to cause a tear in my esophagus. So much blood. You have probably already been told this, but when you cough, try hugging a pillow. It will help support your ribs so hopefully they won't hurt so much.
This story made me crack up
I know the pain of fractured ribs and I feel bad for you!
Sorry to hear that my friend. You should see a doctor and get that checked out. And in the meantime, might I suggest you invest in a bubble wrap suit for when you are having sex then, just in case? Hate to have you hospitalize for unnecessary roughness
This is my worst fear in life.
You have very delicate bones. Go see your doctor?

That wasn't a cough, it's an alien trying to burst out of your chest cavity.
Sounds like you have very fragile bones. You should get that looked at.
