People who steal from cars really drive me crazy...
The parking lot full of crows concerns me more than the theft...
Wow, either they were ready and waiting or just happened to be passing by at just the right time.
Ya, I don't quite understand how they knew op would be unlocking their car at that exact time. I think they may have jimmied the lock or something, and was already stealing stuff before op even showed up.
Am I the only person who immediately thought of that tumblr post about the car parks?
Yes
You should just use your car alarm, it's louder and keeps your car locked :p
And annoys everyone around you.
*crowed
Thing is those remotes only have a short range usually, often around 10-20 meters even with a good battery, assuming OP was walking at a normal pace that's hardly enough time for someone to steal stuff unless they were right there at the right place at the right time or as someone suggested they were already into OP's car before they hit the remote.
Should have pushed the lock button over and over. Anyway sorry OP hopefully the insurance can pay you out
why would you unlock the car with the lights just flashing. unlike when you double lock the car and the car beeps or even just using the alarm button. but I'm sorry that it happened :(
That's why there is a panic button which does not unlock the car and still tells you where it is

Why wouldn't you press the lock key?
Damn. Sorry OP. Any chance you can get what got stolen covered?
