Today, I decided to make what I thought was a pretzel recipe. I ended up eating cooked, egg-coated play dough. Literally, homemade Play-Doh. FML

I didn't know it was play dough. The recipes got switched. I only ate on bite then I realized what was wrong and threw them out.

I've made playdough before, and the recepie calls for loads of salt. Wouldn't thaf raise some suspicion with you to read how much salt is required?

Did you at least get the pretzel recipe back? On the bright side you now have a recipe for play dough! That's pretty cool I guess

I found the correct recipe and I made actual pretzels and they were very good. I was suspicious of the amount salt in the play dough recipe and just chalked it up as a typo and put in a small amount of salt. The one bite I took still was pretty terrible.

well, at least since u used common kitchen ingredients, u know its completely non-toxic, even if it tastes like death.

i remember cooking a pretzel in my easy bake oven which was about 12 years ago and it literally tasted like play doh. so yeah i see how this could happen.

Hey #69 lol what's the recipe for play doh I would like it to make for my kids 6 and 8 and a 1 month old but I'm not letting her play with it lol but what is the recipe for both?

I'm curious on both recipes o.o but I always wanted to make pretzels :l

Why did you eat it? I mean they are very similar doughs.
