Today, I decided to save a few bucks and let my mother cut my hair. I then had to wait in the hospital for attention due to the fact that she cut the tip of my ear off. FML

Today, I thought I would treat myself to a shave and a haircut at a proper barber, instead of just a haircut at Supercuts. After many "Oops", "Sorry", even an "Oh dear", I left with no hair cut, and blood streaming from multiple slices in my face from the shave. I think one might need stitches. FML

Today, I came to the decision that I needed some variety in my life, so I decided to get a haircut. My mom insisted that she could do it and that she had experience because she cuts my dad's short hair. I had thick, long hair. Now, my hair is uneven, ugly and short. FML

Today, I went to the hairdresser on a spur of the moment decision to get a quick wash and cut. Forty-five painful minutes and $180 later, I honestly don't know if anything was actually done to my hair. FML

Today, while getting my hair done, I was annoyed that the beautician was not paying attention while straightening my hair. After asking her three times to watch what she was doing, I grabbed the iron and said "let me do it, you're going to burn me!". I then burned two layers of skin off my ear. FML

Today, we were running late because my hair got tangled in the curtains. My mother-in-law got so angry, she hacked at it, leaving me with a bald patch, then went and sat in the car as though we were still going anywhere with her. FML

Today, my mum started yelling at me for leaving scissors on my desk, which my five year-old sister found and chopped all her hair off. She had a lump of hair as proof. After three minutes of her yelling, me crying and apologizing, she laughed and said she was joking. She'd just given my sister a haircut. FML

Today, my mom came over to visit and permed my hair. Ten minutes after she started, I told her it was burning. She told me to suck it up because it doesn't hurt that badly. I now have scabs all over my scalp, hairline, and nape. FML

At least it was cheaper than plastic surgery. No, but seriously, this is why you usually let professionals cut your hair:) Usually a better job, but more expensive. But at least you get the medical attention needed, so you will be fine. Fyl though But the hospital bill is probably a little expensive. I know nothing of the American health system

In a way you kind of deserve it for not wanting to pay for a haircut but it also sucks that you had to go to the hospital hope you feel better OP :)

oh! You experienced what I feared for years. When I was a child I couldn't sit still (ADHD and all that BS didn't exist that time, I was just an excited kid) and the barber always said that she'd cut off my ear if I moved my head. Kinda worked.

When I was little like 5 years old, the barber told me to hold up one foot and keep it there because then I would hold my head still. It worked like magic and my hair would get cut much faster.

You might want to check your math, I believe the answer is actually 1 mommy with no cut hairs and you're gonna wanna round that up to a nice even chubaka.
