Today, I decided to save a few bucks and let my mother cut my hair. I then had to wait in the hospital for attention due to the fact that she cut the tip of my ear off. FML

Today, I thought I would treat myself to a shave and a haircut at a proper barber, instead of just a haircut at Supercuts. After many "Oops", "Sorry", even an "Oh dear", I left with no hair cut, and blood streaming from multiple slices in my face from the shave. I think one might need stitches. FML

Today, while getting my hair done, I was annoyed that the beautician was not paying attention while straightening my hair. After asking her three times to watch what she was doing, I grabbed the iron and said "let me do it, you're going to burn me!". I then burned two layers of skin off my ear. FML

At least it was cheaper than plastic surgery. No, but seriously, this is why you usually let professionals cut your hair:) Usually a better job, but more expensive. But at least you get the medical attention needed, so you will be fine. Fyl though But the hospital bill is probably a little expensive. I know nothing of the American health system

Something similar happened to my brother, though it wasn't as bad. Instead of he tip of his ear, it was closer to his earlobe. Now he has one attached and one detached earlobe.

I did something similar. I let my mom style my hair and she burned the tip of my ear. Lesson learned- don't be stingy and cheap.

Op you didn't have to go to the hospital, it doesn't hurt that much when the tip of ours ears are cut otherwise a lot less people would wear earrings, and Op don't worry the tip grows back and I would know cause that happened to me
