Today, I decided to scare my 10 year old sister for fun. I hid behind a door and leapt out, shouting "Boo!" when she walked by. She burst into tears and ran screaming to my mom. My mom thought I'd hit my sister, and was so angry that she punched me in the eye. FML

Your mother really needs to control her anger, and get a general overview of the situation.. If my mom did that to me, i'd freak out.. FYL

Yes, let's solve (non-existent) violence with violence, this sounds like a good plan...

Your mom punched you in the eye? What the ****?

That sucks dude but I've been in the same situation, my sister used to slap her own arm until it was red and then tell my mom I hit her, and in return my mom would slap me to show how it feels to "Be hit by someone bigger". It's not that big of a deal really for people that deserve it...look at this generation of kids compared to the last few...the only major difference, parents used to hit thier children for punishment and it worked. But not waiting for you to explain yourself before your mom smacks you is kinda rough man...buy her anger managment sessions for her birthday.

im sorry, FYL but this SO FUNNY!!

JMcJ, you should have stopped arguing after your first post. Being the youngest, I've had a LOT of scares from my brothers and sister. It's natural. We wound each other up. But being hit in the eye? Even if you had hit your sister, you shouldn't have been hit. I bit a chunk from my brother's arm in a fight once, and I just got shouted at. Hitting your kids probably encourages them to hit more.

Wow. Your Mom has some serious anger issues there. How the hell could she get THAT mad about one sibling hitting another? It happens all of the time; it's called sibling rivalry (though it does vary from one level to another). She needs to control herself and not jump to the worst conclusion.
