Today, I decided to scare my 10 year old sister for fun. I hid behind a door and leapt out, shouting "Boo!" when she walked by. She burst into tears and ran screaming to my mom. My mom thought I'd hit my sister, and was so angry that she punched me in the eye. FML

Your mother really needs to control her anger, and get a general overview of the situation.. If my mom did that to me, i'd freak out.. FYL

Yes, let's solve (non-existent) violence with violence, this sounds like a good plan...

THAT'S SO FUNNY! I'm the youngest and the only girl (3 older brothers) and anytime they were bothering me I would run to one of my parents. Of course my parents didn't wait for their side of the story and just believed me, hahahaha!

She punched you in the eye? WTF kind of Mother is she?

Um punching you in the eye is a bit of an over reaction, and I'd personally call child services on her. But whatever. Aside from that, it's not nice to scare your younger siblings.

My mother does this all the time. She says: "Don't punch your brother!" While she punches me very hard at the same time. Never in the eye, though.

My Dads tried to hit me before and i just ****** punched him right back gave him a black eye and if ur mom doese that maybe u should call someone cuz thats ****** up

Your mom= BITCHH. I would put nair in her shampoo, then on the fridge a "recipe" saying. Step one: apologize to your daughter/son. Step two: stop being a bitch. Step three: KARMA'S A BITCH, eh mom? =]

for all the people who are saying that this person deserved it because they scared their little sister, i ask if you have ever had a sibling, cuz this is not a big deal, siblings do this type of shit, hell my older sister would do worse shit than that. The mom totally overreacted, and not to mention the OP could call protective services on the situation (although that would not be wise if this is an isolated incident). She should hav e called you down and asked what happened, and if it was serious (which this wasnt) then she could have grounded/sent you to your room depending on ur age.
