Damn cancel your card and tell your provider it was stolen :(

Make her pay you back, or press charges against her if she refuses to. That's effed up.

This apparently happens alot to people on FML. It leaves me dumbstruck every time. That is a horribly disgraceful thing to do as a parent, and a very poor lesson to pass on to your (presumably adult, but still) kid; that you're allowed to take whatever you want if you feel you deserve it. I'd tell her that either she pays up IMMEDIATELY (not next month, or whenever she feels like it or has the money) or you report your card stolen and press charges against her. If she tries the whole, "I'm your mother, I raised you"-thing, tell her that you're taking care of her when she's old. That's how family works. You don't get to steal from your child. However, I do want to ask why she had your credit card in the first place?

If it were me, I would report the card as stolen, call the police, and then get a lawyer right away to take her to court. Then I would try and get the presents back to return them, so you don't have a crappy credit score. I also would never speak to that woman again, invite her places, or let her near my property.

Take the money out of her purse and pay the bill. How can she complain, after having done the same thing (in essence) to your wallet?

Cancel your credit card and press charges against her

Well here's hoping she got you something good with it

So, credit card theft is fine if OP gets a good gift? I don't ******* think so

She owes you big time...hope you can get that cleared up...

And now i'm wondering: didn't you see this coming?

Sweetpea22 14

Should the OP have seen it coming? I would never expect my mom to do something that evil

maybe her she already have such history with her mom. that is my question.

Don't be a grinch OP. It's better to give than receive.

Sweetpea22 14

Yeah, OP should be happy their mother is messing up their credit score and that she's a thief. *Sarcasm*

I totally agree, jgriff79. Now, why don't you give me your credit card numbers so I can buy some Christmas presents for myself? Remember, it's all about the giving. You wouldn't want to be a grinch, right?
