Today, I discovered that during fire drills, my school lines everyone up next to some extremely flammable and explosive propane tanks. If we ever have a real fire, we will all die. FML

Maybe point that out to the principal...Also, don't forget fires can hear you and you have to walk single file so the fire can't see you. I always found fire drills at school somewhat not planned out properly...

In a real fire, it would never go down as smoothly as the drills do. Everyone is going to run as far from the campus as they can. **** lining up for "role call" 60 feet from a burning building.

I have found that my school, during a bomb threat, puts us all in the gymnasium, packs us at tightly together as they can, and makes us stay there until they "find the threat". The school is VERY small and there are only 300 of us. If one part of it blew up. Everybody goes. And during fire drills we used to stand in the parking lot of a factory that was spilling toxic chemicals on the land.
