There will always be a generation where rich will screw the lower class. That doesn't mean ours girls should be strippers for money. (or anything else) daddy's job is to keep her off the pole. If she's there it's a FAIL. What would you do for a dollar?

I don't understand why everyone is trying to say that OP didn't raise her daughter up right, or she didn't teach her this or didn't teach her that. Most of the time, parents do one hell of a job raising their kids to feel good about themselves and to have self confidence and self respect. The media and society are usually what makes girls feel that they aren't good enough. Look at of these women and girls on tv, in movies and in magazines. They make them look like they are so flawless and perfect and it makes girls feel like there is something wrong with them if they don't look that way. I doubt OP is at fault for her daughter wanting to work at a strip club. She is obviously upset at the idea of it.

It really is depressing to see the Catholic church's claws are still sunk deep into many. Why is nudity(sex included) still felt to be such a dirty thing? One half of the population has the same hardware as you do and we all came from the same place so I'm guessing my point is: why look upon what is natural with disdain or disgust? If you're religious then stop acting saintly and start being human. We need sex to survive as a species and it happens to be enjoyable so start enjoying life. Self-denial does not a saint make, just someone who never explored all life has to offer.

Uncontrolled fire can be used as a tool and it's beautiful. Out of control, it burns, everything has rules... Including sex. Ladies stripping only degrade a society. She was some ones little girl, she can do more. She's worth more.

Okay striping at 19 is bad enough but having you! Her own mother dropping her off there just makes it even worse.. Fyl indeed for bad parenting.

315, at 19 she would really only just be transitioning into adulthood. Considering the demographic here I'm pretty sure I'll get thumbed down for this but most 19 year olds still aren't mature enough to make the best choices. Working at a strip club should be a last resort. If I had a kid I wouldn't want her anywhere near those places, even if they're only waitressing. Just because you're not stripping doesn't mean you won't be influenced by the crowd. At 19 she would have so many other options ahead of her. The parents should have helped her seek out other choices, not just blindly support her in whatever she wants to do.
