Today, I drove 4 hours to see my girlfriend of a year, as she had asked me to stay with her for a few days. When I arrived she told me she wanted to be friends as she liked someone else, but wanted me to stay the few days so we could work on being friends. FML

I feel OP's pain. My now former girlfriend just started sleeping with her ex and wants to still be friends and calls and emails at all times of the day. Saddest thing is I can't tell her to stop calling because I still love her.

I'd do the mature thing...Show up w/a bunch of screwed up friends, throw a party, drink up all the booze, puke in the house plants, eat up all the food, dirty every dish, shit in the bathtub, wipe my bum on the curtains, piss in the dirty clothes hamper, etc., etc...You know, classy stuff...
