I sincerely wish your boss sees this. Shit happens at night, and esecially with ISIS now in 15 states? Are you KIDDING ME? Now I don't know quite how serious they are, courtesy of the government and their darned red tape and my basic security clearance. But what I can say is, I wouldn't be surprised if some ISIS whackjob was in YOUR state, miraculously came to YOUR job (because as long as they kill SOMEBODY, who gives ****?) and ****** your world up because you were asleep. People die because of mistakes like that.

Shouldn't have slept at work, you're lucky you weren't fired. and before people bitch about how it's hard to stay up at night, I work a 7 day shift patter, 3 days, 4 nights, 3 off, 4 days 3 nights 4 off, all 12 hour shifts and don't have a single problem staying awake.

I work third shift, and it is very hard. Those who work 12 hour irregular shifts, you have no sleeping schedule. You are used to no sleep and not everyone is you. You have developed the habit of irregular sleep (which is easier to do when you are younger). Working third is not easy by any means.
