Today, I fell down a flight of stairs onto cement and had to get stitches in my knee. The class I was running to was Buddhist Philosophy where I was supposed to give a presentation on how we all need to slow down and stop rushing through life. FML

Ha ha! Love the Irony. Next time try practice what you preach. ;-)

yeah. perfect practical example for your class. "see what happens when you rush through life? fell down a flight of stairs and stitches on the knee."

You should re-write the lecture to be about Murphy's Law

Instant karma's gonna get you; gonna knock you right on the head...

That ain't karma, more like hypocrisy.

I think the worst part of this FML is the fact that he/she actually, literally fell down a flight of stairs. People are gonna think you're being abused now, every time you explain what happened.

BS alert. Falling onto concrete could break your knee cap, or scrape your knee, but in order to get stitches you need a laceration or incision. Was this cement littered with knives or broken glass?

you should've pretended you were late on purpose. say it was part of the "presentation."

#35, that is wonderful. #36, when I was eight years old, I fell off my bike and onto concrete. I needed stitches in my chin. Just because you don't personally believe something happened doesn't automatically make it BS, so please keep your smug opinions to yourself.

at least you set an example of what not to do.
