Today, I finally bought a car, after saving up for a year. My dealer had told me it was a good buy, so I snapped it up then and there. On the way home, the rear axle practically fell out of the car due to frame rot. My dealer wants to buy the car back at half the price. FML

Today, I bought a car that literally caught fire seconds after I started the engine. The dealership then fobbed me off, saying I'd driven it off their forecourt (by about 3 yards), so it was entirely my problem, but they still expect my monthly payments to be on time. FML

Today, I found out that the man who sold me my car 6 months ago lied about it being "recently serviced" and "in excellent condition". It actually hasn't been serviced in years, and fixing all its problems is going to cost me $900 more than what I paid for the car. FML

Today, I took my car to dealer because of the loud knocking sound I heard while driving it. Twenty-four hours later, they told me it was fixed. Fifteen minutes after I drove away, the tire flew off my car while I was on the highway. My car is now totaled. FML

Today, I was offered a "rust and accident free“ used car at the dealership. By chance, I managed to track down the previous owner, who was quite surprised I was asking about it, saying, "That one was totaled, I thought it had been scrapped!” FML

Buying a car should not be an impulse buy. It actually took me three months to buy my vehicle. I did my research online. Then I visited many dealerships in the area. I even went to an auction. Finally, my dream vehicle appeared on the lot one day. Even though it was straight off the line, I checked it over and even kept it a few days before deciding to buy it. I wanted to make sure I was getting my money's worth. I also made sure that I was able to return it for a full refund if I was not satisfied. They gave me 72 hours. Hopefully, you'll go in prepared, next time.
